Caribou on the inland waters and virtually any sea mammal at sea. The
sea mammals included the seal, sea otter, walrus and whale. Fish such
as halibut and assorted birds were also hunted. All the groups did not
hunt all of these animals. Some groups avoided hunting certain animals
for practical and/or spiritual reasons.
