If you accept the words of Thomas Jefferson, governments
"derive their just powers from the *consent* of the
governed". The key word here is "consent". Consensual,
mutually beneficial agreements are called "contracts",
which lead many libertarians to call the United States
Constitution "the REAL Contract with America!"
