If you have a Disk Manager or EZDrive partition and are upgrading to a translating BIOS, you have three options.
o The utility is compatible with LBA translation, or has a migration feature. This makes for a smooth upgrade path. (I'm only certain about Disk Manager v7).
o The above isn't true and you don't want to go through a backup, repartition, restore cycle. Tell the BIOS to use Normal mode for the harddisk and the utility should continue to work as usual.
o Backup, repartition, restore. See 6.10 if you experience difficulties removing the utility.
Always back up your data before doing a system upgrade.
