Scripts and macros can eliminate a lot of needless typing. I used
to use the following script to log on to the sumex-aim FTP site.
send "FTP sumex-aim.stanford.edu^M"
wait prompt "Username:"
send "anonymous^M"
wait prompt "Password:"
send "ljones@utkvx.utk.edu^M"
wait prompt "FTP>"
send "cd info-mac^M"
