Description

This article is from the Songwriting FAQ, by Greg Skinner gds@best.com.

30. Where can I find lyrics on the Internet?

There are several archive sites for lyrics on the Internet. Lyrics
can be accessed via the WWW or anonymous ftp. One such site is
ftp.uwp.edu. Visit ftp://ftp.uwp.edu/pub/music/ or ftp to
ftp.uwp.edu giving a username of anonymous and your full email address
(user@site.domain) as the password.

There is also the newsgroup alt.music.lyrics, where many people post
lyrics for songs they know. If you have a lyric request, chances are
someone who reads that group will know how to answer it.
