24. Should I self-publish? (Songwriting)

This is a difficult question as well.

On the positive side:

* By self-publishing, you collect both the writer's share and the
publisher's share of royalties.
* You do not have to spend a lot of time trying to find a publisher! :)
* You have more control over where your music goes.

On the negative side:

* It takes more time to publish -- time you might spend writing songs.
