Use:

Phentolamine or Vasomax is an oral drug that facilitates an erection, thus may be useful in impotence.

How It Works:

Phentolamine or Vasomax is a vasodilator which has been used via penile injection for impotence. Taken orally prior to anticipated sexual activity it facilitates erection, however taken orally it is less effective than by injection.

Side Effects:

Phentolamine or Vasomax has been associated with nasal congestion, insomnia, and indigestion. As research continues, be more complete side effect profile will emerge.

Cautions for People:

Phentolamine or Vasomax taken orally is less effective than by injection, thus it may be more suitable for initial therapy and/or mild cases of impotence - it may not be effective for all cases.

Drug Interactions:

Phentolamine or Vasomax has not been reported to interact with other drugs, however, it use is new and it is used on an infrequent basis, thus more time is required to determine drug interactions.
