* Ingredients:
1 cup soaked garbanzos*
½ cup soy or nut milk
1 cup rolled oats
1 onion, minced
½ cup walnuts, chopped fine
1 tablespoon Liquid Aminos (unfermented soy sauce)
2 teaspoons McKay's Beef Style Seasoning (MSG free)
1 teaspoon sage or Italian seasoning
* Directions:
Process garbanzos and soy or nut milk in a blender until smooth,
adding more milk if necessary for blending. Pour into a bowl and
stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonful or ice cream scoop
onto a sprayed skillet. Flatten with back of spoon. Cover and brown
slowly (about 20 minutes on each side) over low heat.
*Soak overnight or substitute canned garbanzos.
Variation: For King Burger Bake, place browned burgers in a covered casserole
dish and spread gray over top. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
