2 T Sugar
1 T Cornstarch
8 oz Pineapple chunks in
Unsweetened juice, undrained 1/4 t Ground cinnamon
2 T Butter or margarine
1. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a deep, 1-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.
2. Gradually add juice from pineapple, stirring constantly.
3. Add pineapple, cinnamon and butter.
4. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes. Stir and heat an additional 4 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Stir occasionally. Serve with meat or as a desert sauce.
Makes 3/4 cup
