"Best known for his SF, Vance is an interesting
writer in any genre.
"Dying Earth series" - The Dying Earth; The Eyes of the
Overworld; Cugel's Saga; Rhialto the Marvelous
"The first two are genuine fantasy classics, and
Cugel the Clever is a great character (hey, I like
rogues). These are all stand-alones.
