30 B+D router problam and a request for info

I have a problem with my 1+1/4 horse Black and Decker router.
No matter how tight I make the chuck, the blade slowly slips
out while its running. For obvious reasons this sucks.
Is there anyone out there in net land with the same problem
or any possible solutions? The router as it stands is
quite useless to me until I find a solution.

Which brings me to the second part of the posting...

Does anyone have any suggestions for a new router
within the $100-$150 price range. I'm not so sure that
the B+D is the best thing for some of the hardwood
projects I have in mind and I'd like to pick up
a sturdy, powerful, pro model that'll do the work
easier with less strain on the motor.

I haven't done any shopping yet so I don't know whats
on the market. I thought I would just ask the net first.

And lastly...

Does anyone have any good, simple plans for a large router table.
The comercial tables don't seem big enough and I've seen
some good home-made ones that would suit my needs but
I just don't seem to have the imagination to develope one
on my own. Something about 2' X 3' would be perfect.
