14 Ryobi RA200 Portable Radial Arm Saw

I have been looking for a general purpose saw for a variety of uses. My
projects tend toward the functional side and I'm getting tired of using the neighbor's tools all the time.

The problem is a lack of space (almost everyone's problem). The Ryobi
RA200 is an 8 1/4" portable radial saw. It looks to offer all of the
standard radial saw features and an extra spindle for attaching other
accessories (probably router bits or cutter heads).

The price is reasonable; $269 at Home Depot in San Jose.

Does anyone on the network have one of these? What is your opinion? Would
you recommend this saw to others? Do you know of other similar saws I should look at? You know, the general questions.

Does anyone know if this saw or others like it have been reviewed by any
of the woodworking magazines?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. You can send me mail or post
a reply. Thanks in advance.
