|>The new Grizzley catalog advertises a 14" bandsaw, Model G1019, for
|>$295. Seems like a very good price. Does anyone have any experience

i had one for several years and it served me well. i ended up burning up the
3/4 h.p motor resawing some stock. i replaced the original with a 1 h.p
baldor
and that improved things alot. i did end up selling it and replacing with a
delta, though.
i got the delta as a loss-leader for $489 (enclosed stand w/ motor) so it seemed
worth
the extra money.
if i had to pay retail proce for the delta (~$700) i'd still go with the grizzly
and replace the
motor from the start. cost aside, the delta is just a better made machine! as
with most
woodworking machines, you get what you pay for.
