01 Info in bandsaws

...
I am looking to buy a band saw (in the $200 - $300 range) and
would like to hear both good and bad opinions about specific
brands. General comments about what to look for would also be nice.

I'm about to purchase a Sears 12" bandsaw. I can buy it through
through the catalog for $277 or at the store for ~$300.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has used this
machine. It seems to be fairly well built but I've grown a little
weary of Sear's products. They seem to be getting cheaper all the
time.
